Moderna means “Modern” in Spanish, and the Moderna Brushed Silver Beveled mirror frame is exactly that, a very modern stainless steel faux finish that features a smooth surface with precision metallic etching to mimic a metal stainless steel frame. When stainless steel is brushed it produces a muted luster with a pattern of fine parallel lines which gives it a distinctive decorative appeal without being too reflective, which can be undesirable. The Moderna Brushed Silver is made of an MDF base with a plastic wrap that imitates a stainless steel coating for easier cleaning, better stability, longevity and consistency.
